EMOTIONAL FIRST AID
Pregnancy, birth and the first years with a child are often more challenging than expected. At EEH, we support you and your child in finding ways out of the crisis.
Are you under stress due to a difficult or traumatic pregnancy, birth or premature loss of a child? Do you feel overwhelmed and exhausted dealing with your inconsolably crying baby or a child who won’t sleep? Is your angry toddler pushing you to your limits?
Whatever moves you wants to be recognized, understood and integrated. A professional counterpart enables the integration of challenging experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Emotional First Aid supports a sensitive and loving dialog with oneself and the child through targeted conversations and the development of an awareness of one’s own and the child’s state of mind in a body-, bonding- and process-oriented support approach.
The direct process support of babies and children is an important focus in EEH, which is preceded by the development of a supportive field for the parents. In this way, we accompany all those present on the basis of safety in their experience.
In EEH, you as a professional will find a body- and process-oriented way of supporting families under stress. Many professionals reach their limits when working with highly stressed families.
Do you work as a midwife and realize that you would like to provide parents with long-term support in processing and integrating acute traumatic experiences around birth? Do you have a background in early prevention and are you interested in providing parents and their children with a good basis for joint development? If you are looking for ways to accompany emotional processes in your work as a body therapist, doctor, psychologist, psychotherapist, physiotherapist, teacher, breastfeeding or sleep consultant, then you will find sound training in the EEH to expand your skills.

WHAT IS EEH?
Emotional First Aid is a body-oriented counseling approach that supports a loving parent-child bond during pregnancy, birth and in the time afterwards. Emotional First Aid aims to break the cycle of fear, tension and insecurity at an early stage by means of targeted conversations, supportive touch and awareness exercises. This noticeably strengthens the closeness to the child. A sensitive and loving dialog is then easier – even in these difficult moments.
Support in developing a loving connection with the unborn child.
Emotional support for mothers and fathers in difficult situations during childbirth.
Trauma support for parents and babies after overwhelming stress around the birth.
