Dal 2003 lavoro come psicoterapeuta (terapeuta sistemico familiare, psicoterapeuta del neonato, dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza, psicoterapeuta corporea basata sul legame) nel mio studio di Kufstein con genitori e bambini. Nel 2010 ho iniziato a insegnare e a fare supervisione nella formazione del PSE e del PCBL (psicoterapia corporea basata sul legame). Questo lavoro vario e diversificato con i genitori e i bambini, ma anche con i tirocinanti, è molto importante per me.

Questions like disturbi di regolazione nella prima infanzia, malattie post-partum (ad esempio la depressione post-partum), il trauma causato da gravidanze e parti difficili, che spesso colpiscono l’intera famiglia, come anche la morte di un bambino durante la gravidanza o poco dopo la nascita, sono per me temi di particolare interesse nel mio lavoro con i genitori-neonati.

Quando insegno o supervisiono, è per me molto importante sostenere futur* consulenti, docenti o supervisori del PSE in modo che possano portare avanti le loro varie attività con fiducia e gioia.

As a young psicologist, I was fascinated both by the new concepts that have advanced research into infancy and the theories of aggression, and by the concepts of modern physical therapy. L’unione di questi due filoni scientifici mi apparì essenziale, soprattutto nel lavoro con genitori e bambini.

La fondazione del primo ambulatorio per genitori con bambini che piangevano in maniera eccessiva, a Berlino nel 1993, ha segnato l’inizio di un percorso di crescita personale e professionale con il PSE, che continua tuttora. Nel 1995 ho iniziato ad offrire il primo programma di formazione in Pronto Soccorso Emozionale a Berlino. In Austria, Svizzera e Italia – in collaborazione con le mie colleghe Mechthild Deyringer, Notburga Egerbacher-Anker, Cornelia Reichlin e Barbara Walcher – sono stati poi gradualmente aperti altri centri di formazione PSE in Europa a partire dall’inizio degli anni 2000.

Attualmente sono responsabile della gestione della formazione di tutte le fasi di PSE presso il sito di Brema (Germania).

A Basilea dirigo “aava – un centro PSE e di sostegno alla genitorialità”, il centro di formazione PSE della Svizzera. Un luogo dove si svolge sia il lavoro pratico con le famiglie, sia i corsi PSE, gli eventi formativi e i corsi per genitori.

Sostengo gli adulti nel rafforzare le proprie competenze di stare nel qui ed ora e partendo da una prospettiva sicura, integro le esperienze difficili e quelle biograficamente stressanti. Offro ai bambini uno spazio sicuro dove possono mostrare quello che hanno dentro. Il mio compito è quello di creare connessioni tra i mondi e i vissuti, di sciogliere i nodi, di creare nuove connessioni e di rafforzare la capacità di legare e di amare delle persone.

In qualità di formatrice PSE, sono in grado di contagiare altre persone con la mia passione per il lavoro con i genitori e i neonati e di accompagnare le persone attraverso un lavoro orientato allo sviluppo dei processi verso nuove competenze professionali e personali. Nell’ambito della formazione PSE, oltre al mio ruolo come docente, apprezzo il lavoro orientato ai processi con i gruppi, per affrontare temi legati alla propria nascita e al legame.

Nella vita privata sono una persona accogliente, con tante idee ed uno spirito avventuroso. Mi piace viaggiare e divertirmi. Sono sposata, ho un figlio di 21 anni e una figlia di 16 anni.

Come infermiera pediatrica e consulente all’allattamento IBCLC, ho conosciuto il PSE nel 2001. All’epoca lavoravo ancora in un contesto clinico, ma mi stava a cuore implementare direttamente questo tipo di supporto nella mia pratica lavorativa, un primo passo verso l’implementazione ufficiale del PSE nell’organizzazione medica altoatesina.

Iniziando a lavorare come libera professionista, nel 2013 ho potuto portare per la prima volta il corso PSE in Italia. Since then sono responsabile del centro di formazione PSE in Italia. Il mio obiettivo era è quello di approfittare della nostra diversità linguistica presente in Alto Adige per motivi storici, per consentire al PSE di creare dei ponti con le regioni meridionali dell’Italia. Nel 2021 ho intrapreso la direzione di un altro centro di formazione in Ticino insieme a Cornelia Reichlin.

Inizialmente ho lavorato come insegnante di scuola materna e come educatrice alla prima infanzia, fino ad ottenere il diploma come terapeuta occupazionale. Poi ho lavorato per diversi anni in un centro terapeutico per bambini. Quando sono diventata mamma nel 2017, sono entrata in contatto per la prima volta con il PSE.

Nell’agosto del 2022, mi sono riaffacciata al mondo del lavoro e ho avuto l’opportunità di ottenere un posto di lavoro come supplenza per un congedo di maternità presso la segreteria di EEH Europe. I miei compiti comprendono la cura del sito web, l’elaborazione delle ricertificazioni, la preparazione della newsletter e la risposta a tutte le domande relative a EEH Europe

In Basel, I run the “aava – Center for EEH and Parent-Child Support”, the EEH training center in Switzerland. A place where practical work with families, EEH courses, specialist events and parenting courses take place.

I support the adults in their competence in the here and now and look at the acute and biographically stressful experiences that need to be integrated from a safe perspective. I offer the babies an open space where they can show what moves them. My task is to create connections between the worlds of experience, to untangle entanglements, to enable new connections and to strengthen the ability to bond and love in people.

As an EEH trainer, I am able to infect other people with my passion for parent-baby work and accompany them in a process-oriented way on their way to new professional and personal skills. As part of the EEH training, I value the process-oriented work with groups in order to approach my own birth and attachment issues, in addition to my role as a speaker.

In my private life, I’m a jovial person with lots of ideas and an adventurous spirit. I like to travel and enjoy myself. I am married, have a 21-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter. As a family, we live a heart-connected life together, even if we had and have to deal with our own issues on the attachment-oriented path as a family. Basic Bonding – Group leader

Basic Bonding – Leaders support parents with minor problems that arise in everyday parenting. They also offer parenting courses to strengthen the bond between parents and their children right from the start. (including butterfly baby massage, stress management, baby reading)

EEH – Specialist consultant

EEH counselors support parents in pronounced crises that arise in the first year of life around the topics of crying, sleeping and feeding. EEH consultants are trained to accompany your infant’s regulation and interaction disorders. The first steps towards a solution are developed with the parents so that they can experience everyday life with their child safely and enjoyably again.

EEH – Therapist

The EEH therapists support babies and parents after overwhelming birth and pregnancy experiences. On the one hand, EEH therapists support infants and toddlers who are under stress so that they can process the injuries of their early years. On the other hand, affected parents receive short-term therapeutic support to help them come to terms with the loss of contact during pregnancy, birth and their first relationship with their child.

Additional qualification “Attachment-oriented body psychotherapy”

Therapists with a degree in “attachment-oriented body psychotherapy (BKPT)” accompany adults in order to work with them on the deeper, and often buried, background of individual stress and attachment patterns. BKPT is a longer-term process that often begins when the acute crisis interventions have been completed.

I originally worked as a kindergarten teacher and early childhood educator until I trained as an occupational therapist. I then worked for several years in a therapy center for children. When I became a mother myself in 2017, I came into contact with EEH for the first time.

In August 2022, I ventured back into the world of work and had the opportunity to work as a maternity leave replacement in the EEH Europe Secretariat. My tasks include looking after the website, processing recertifications, preparing the newsletter and answering all inquiries relating to EEH Europe.

As a pediatric nurse and lactation consultant IBCLC, I first learned about EEH in 2001. At that time, I was still working in a clinical context, but it was a matter close to my heart to implement this type of support directly in my work practice, a first step towards the now official implementation of EEH in the South Tyrolean medical services.

Having switched to my own practice, I was able to bring the EEH course to Italy for the first time in 2013. Since then, I have been running the EEH training center in Italy. It was and is important to me to use our historical linguistic diversity in South Tyrol to enable the EEH to build bridges to the southern regions of Italy. In 2021, I took over the management of another training location in Ticino together with Cornelia Reichlin.

As a young psychologist, I was fascinated by learning about infant and attachment research as well as concepts of modern body psychotherapy at the same time. It seemed obvious to me to synthesize these two branches of knowledge – especially when working with parents and children.

The founding of the first outpatient clinic for parents and excessively crying babies in Berlin in 1993 marked the beginning of a journey of personal and professional development with EEH that continues to this day. In 1995 I started to offer the first training program in Emotional First Aid in Berlin. In Austria, Switzerland and Italy – in collaboration with my colleagues Mechthild Deyringer, Notburga Egerbacher-Anker, Cornelia Reichlin and Barbara Walcher – further EEH training locations were gradually opened in Europe from the beginning of the 2000s.

I am currently responsible for the training management of all EEH phases at the location in Bremen (Germany).

Since 2003 I have been working as a psychotherapist (systemic family therapy, infant, child and adolescent psychotherapist, attachment-based body psychotherapist) in my own practice in Kufstein with parents and babies. In 2010, I started teaching and supervising in EEH and BKPT. This diverse and varied work with the parents and babies, but also with the trainees, is important to me.

Issues such as regulatory disorders, postpartum illnesses (e.g. postpartum depression), trauma caused by difficult pregnancies and births, which often affect the whole family, as well as the death of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth, are of particular concern in parent-baby work.

When teaching or supervising, it is very important to me to support future EEH consultants, teachers or supervisors so that they can pursue their various activities with confidence and joy.

There are two training locations in Austria – in Kufstein and Vienna.
